when printers are setting up a job, the practice sheets we use to test for alignment and ink color are called make readies, as in, these are the pieces we use to “make the job ready.” i save these pieces, carefully patching them together to make this huge, oversized tote. please note, each one is completely unique–some patches will have two or three prints on them, others just one, and the collection of prints will be different on each bag.
like all my bags, this is made, completely by hand, right here in New York city. if you need to wash it, use oxyclean in cold water and hang dry. do not iron, the ink is plastic based and the intense heat will ruin your bag, your iron, and probably your day.
