i live in california, a place my dad not so lovingly refers to as, "the land of fruits and nuts."   i'm pretty sure that's why i love it here.

since my divorce three years ago, i've been traveling a lot and i think you'll see that reflected in the products i design.   india gave me an appreciation for intricate pattern and a hand hewn quality.  cambodia opened my eyes to a variety of beautiful materials americans would see as trash.  thailand taught me about luck and hope.  china introduced me to red.  japan taught me quirks can be beautiful.

everything on this site is something i designed and made with the exception of a few wonderful vintage items i've curated just for you.  nearly every week, i create something new; i've been doing this since i was a kid, it is what makes me tick, and i'm glad i can share my ideas with you.
